Mélange:  These paintings may or may not be part of a particular series. I have not included a sample of all of the different series I've developed. But I thought I would include a combination of different media and styles in this gallery. On the first page of the Mélange Gallery, many of the paintings started with washes of watercolor, then developed with no preconceived plan or idea as to the finished painting. The work was allowed to evolve creatively and intuitively. To me, this method of painting is extemely challenging, but infinitely more fun than painting from sketches, photos or on location. The spirit of these pieces of art are from my heart and I'm sure they capture my Joy of Life. And as an added bonus, many of these paintings have been award winners.
