An artistic experience
awaits those who enter the world of
watercolorist Charlotte Seay. The
multi-colored site that follows is
designed to showcase the vivid, bright
and striking colors she chooses from the
palette and to reflect the sense of
whimsy, attraction to adventure, and
concern for nature she brings to her art.
Multiple images in the galleries have
been compressed to help load time on
those pages. Some of the work is
available; others are in private and
public collections. Click on most images
and discover a larger, uncompressed copy
that more clearly shows the beauty and
vibrancy of her work.
All of the paintings on this page are
available for purchase. Above: left, Corner
Cottage, a watercolor,
is from the Beauty of the Earth
Gallery; center, Dance
on the Canyon Rim, a
watercolor, is from the Dance
Series Gallery; and, right, Field
of Flowers, a watercolor,
is from the Beauty of the Earth
Gallery. Below: left, Happy
Valley, a monotype,
is from the Blessings Gallery;
center, Waitin' on
the Parade is among those in the Sweet
Land of Liberty Gallery available as
notecards that can be ordered from this
site (see Order); and, right, Shop
on Canyon Road, an oil, is
from the Land of the High Sky Gallery.
Additionally, Mrs. Seay has prints (click
on Available Prints at left) from her Guardian
Angels Series that are
available.
Along with creating works for gallery
showings and by-invitation art shows,
Mrs. Seay works by commission and has a
substantial list of satisfied clients.
She is also sought after to present
demonstrations and workshops. She has
executed works for more than 50 solo
exhibitions.
Her work reflects an international
appeal. In 2000, she served as the
curator for the Midland, Texas-Wirral,
England Art Exchange. Her work is
currently being shown in Europe by
Blackthorn Corporate Agency. Additional
credentials are found through the links,
at left, listed under Meet the Artist.
Mrs. Seay wants to express her
appreciation to all those who visit her
site. She hopes you enjoy the tour and
that you will return to see her latest
works.
Art has been vital to humanity's
existence since our ancestors left their
drawings on cave walls. As Mrs. Seay said
in an interview when she was honored as
the Distinguished Artist for the 1997
Celebration of the Arts: "Everything
in our lives has to do with art even so
far as the design of a computer, the cars
that we drive, the furniture we sit on,
the architectural landscaping, food
packaging and home design. The
possibilities are infinite."
So, please do look around and come back
again.
