Artist Statement: A Lifetime Spent Creating Art

My work centers around two continuing themes: conservation and preservation. By celebrating the beauty in nature in my work, I hope to remind us all that we share this Earth with amazing natural wonders which must be protected if we are to survive. The great English playwright William Shakespeare said, "What is past is prologue." We must preserve our rich human heritage as well.
